Town Centre

Northcote residents have long held a desire to see their town centre revitalised.

It’s important that any development strengthens the community and reinforces the local character. Residents want more of what people love about Northcote.

The city’s urban rejuvenation agency, Panuku Development Auckland, will redevelop the town centre and improve local amenities to increase safety.

Panuku will also work with the Government to better connect the town centre with local homes through a new cycleway and walking route. Over the next few months Northcote residents will start to see minor improvements in the town centre, as well as some significant stormwater work getting underway. Read more at www.panuku.co.nz/northcote
