Neighbourhood development on this scale brings a range of opportunities.

New, higher quality homes and better facilities for residents will improve people's day-to-day lives.

Northcote will become more dense, meaning there will be a greater number of homes and people living in the area. This increases the number of customers and opportunities for retailers and small business owners. More businesses means more work available locally.

New families coming into the area strengthen the school communities. Having more homes and a higher number of people out and about in your neighbourhood reduces crime and makes it safer and more vibrant.

Local students will have the opportunity to visit the construction sites and learn about the different consultants and trades present through our Construction Plus programme.

Where appropriate, materials from the existing houses are re-used. We work with community groups to use the upcycled materials for the benefit of the community.
