Community digs the upgrade to Northcote’s Greenslade Reserve
Hundreds of children and their parents turned up to Greenslade Reserve for the Northcote Digger Day on Saturday 28 September. The always-popular event, hosted by Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities, gave local Northcote residents the opportunity to learn more about the changes coming to the area as part of the Northcote Development project, while the smaller members of the community got to work in sandpit construction sites and pint-sized cement mixers.
