Following the success of Fraser Avenue, NZ Living has released plans and prices for 30 new apartments at 165 Lake Road, the second release of market and KiwiBuild homes in the Northcote Development.

The ‘Lake Road’ apartments will comprise two buildings of three stories each, with a mix of two and three-bedroom homes.

True to NZ Living’s low-maintenance, high quality builds, these new homes will be constructed using solid concrete and block, and finished with double glazing, aluminium panels and traditional brick cladding for added durability. Each apartment will achieve a six Homestar rating, meaning it’s not only cheaper to run than most Kiwi homes, but warmer, drier, and healthier to live in too.

At the heart of Lake Road’s design is community. The Lake Road buildings are positioned at right angles to each other, forming an internal green space away from the street which is landscaped for residents to enjoy. Internal lobby spaces will be shared with your near neighbours, providing ongoing opportunities to bump into each other .

Residents will be a short walking distance to Northcote’s schools, public transport links, local shops and eateries. Northcote Intermediate School is just a one-minute walk away, while Onepoto Primary School is two. The local Countdown supermarket and the soon-to-be revitalised town centre are both a pleasant three-minute stroll along Northcote’s new picturesque greenway. Bus services from Lake Road leave every 30 minutes to Auckland City and every 15 minutes to Takapuna.

Market and KiwiBuild homes are available to purchase off the plan now, and they’re already selling fast with only one KiwiBuild home remaining. Two-bedroom apartments are priced from $600,000 and are reserved for eligible KiwiBuild buyers. Three-bedroom homes will be sold on the open market and are priced between $830,000 and $845,000 (price inclusive of one parking space).
