Work on the final section of the stormwater upgrades in Northcote have finally started! On Monday 21 September a 40-tonne tunnel boring machine was hoisted in place using a 350-tonne crane before being lowered 7m below ground to begin boring, making way for new stormwater pipes that will eventually capture and divert stormwater out of Northcote.
